10/10/09: There is finally a digital 3D camera - the FinePix Real3D W1 from Fujifilm.  I bought one the day they went on sale in the United States!

10/22/04: I bought a 1953 Stereo Realist on eBay and have been taking all of the recent pictures with it.

I created all of the Mars 3D anaglyph images from raw stereo pairs published at the JPL site listed below.  All of my anaglyph images are original.  None came from NASA or elsewhere.  You can only find these here at World's Best 3D!

The Mars pictures were constructed from raw stereo image data that can be found here:

I was originally using Photoshop to create anaglyph images, but then I found the timesaving, excellent and free Anabuilder, and you can get that here:

The raytraced images were designed in Moray and rendered in POVRay, and those applications can be found here:
